Corporate and Non-Golfers

Wrag Barn require a completed Confirmation of Booking form together with a non-returnable deposit of £5.00 per head to secure your booking.

Wrag Barn must receive final numbers no later than than close of business (17.00) on the eve of your event.

Wrag Barn reserves the right to charge the agreed rate for any reduction in numbers on the day.

Wrag Barn's other services such as Menu choices, Pin markers, Buggy hire etc, if not known at time of completing the Confirmation of Booking form, to be notified to the office no later than two weeks prior to the event.

Wrag Barn request that the balance is payable by 12.00 noon on the day of your event in the Accounts Office situated on the first floor. Cheques should be made payable to "Wrag Barn Golf Ltd". We look forward to welcoming you to Wrag Barn.

Society Golf Days

Provisional Bookings

Bookings are provisional until the signed agreement is received together with the required deposit. Wrag Barn Golf Club will hold a provisional booking for 14 day, but should another client subsequently wish to book and confirm the same date(s) you will be asked to confirm your booking within 48 hours. Wrag Barn Golf Club reserve the right to release the provisionally held date(s) if the deposit is not received.

Numbers

The Minimum number of any players for any golf day will be eight persons.

Confirmation and Deposits

A Non-refundable deposit of £100.00 made be payable to Wrag Barn Golf Club is required to secure your booking. Should a booking be cancelled within 7 days of the date required Wrag Barn Golf Club shall be entitled to charge and invoice the client an additional sum representing the balance of 100% (including the deposit) of the booking.

Payment

The confirmed number of players and food and beverage requirements must be received in the office no later than 7 days prior to the event. Full payment is required upon arrival. Please note that if numbers are reduced later than three days before the event it will be necessary to charge for meals not taken.

Conditions of Play

Play will be in fourball format playing from the yellow tee at 8 minute intervals. The time allocated for 9 holes is 2 hours. It is the responsibility of each group to keep up with the speed of play. Proper golf shoes must be worn and the dres code adhered to. It is the responsibility of the organiser to inform his/her guests of this.

Course Etiquette

It is the responsibility of the organiser to ensure that his/her guests are aware of the standard etiquettes of golf. Failure to comply with this will result in the individuals concerned being removed from the golf course.

Course Closure

Closure of the course due to inclement weather is rare. However any decision to close is at the discretion of the Golf Course Manager and will be made on the morning of the day concerned. Any closure will be advised to the organiser as soon as possible. In the event of the course being closed on the day, the Organiser will be entitled to a full refund or preferential access to alternative dates. Under no circumstance will Wrag Barn Golf Club be responsible for consequential loss, however it arises.

Buggies

Golf Buggies can be booked prior to the event. Use of buggies by Golf Day participants is the responsbility of the Golf Day Organiser and he/she will be liable for any damages inucurred to the buggy or the course.

Liability

We can accept no liability or responsibility for:

  • Loss or damage to belongings. Persons wishing to leave belongings on the premises do so entirely at their own risk.
  • Damage or injury to any visitor on their property.
  • Cover for public liability, property damage and loss, whilst on the club's property or premises.

Conduct and Damage to Property

In the event of guest's behaviour being unacceptable, the Management reserves the right to insist upon the offending individual(s) immediate departure. Furthermore the client undertakes to pay all reasonable costs incurred in making good any breakages or damages at Wrag Barn Golf Club resulting directly or indirectly from the behaviour or conduct of the client or the client's guests.
